Young Artist, Baritone Zachary Lenox, in Concert at 熊猫在线视频
Audiences have two chances to hear solo vocal music from Baroque to Broadway with Zachary Lenox, a classically trained baritone, who has performed with companies across North America. First, Lenox will perform a preview of his recital works at 熊猫在线视频’s popular music series, Fridays in the Rose, on Friday February 6 from 12:00-12:45 p.m.The series is designed to give audiences a taste of the sublime in just enough time to listen and grab a bite during lunch hour! Next he will perform the full recital on Saturday, February 7 at 7:30 p.m. Both performances will be in the Rose Performance Hall in the Walter J. Manninen Center for the Arts at 熊猫在线视频, 376 Hale St., Beverly, MA.
Zachary Lenox is a residence director at 熊猫在线视频, but is also an accomplished operatic and Broadway singer. In this performance, he will share repertoire from the Baroque period all the way through contemporary musical theater. Most recently, in Napa Valley, CA, Lenox performed the roles of Sid in Britten’s Albert Herring, Melisso in Handel’s Alcina, and the Father in Bach’s Coffee Cantata. He has also performed the roles of Don Giovanni in Mozart's Don Giovanni, Guglielmo in Mozart's Così fan Tutte, Gianni Schicchi and Betto in Puccini'sGianni Schicchi, Ottone in Monteverdi's L'incoronazione di Poppea, Papageno in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, as well as Vater in Humperdinck's Hänsel und Gretel. Lenox has had extensive concert and oratorio work, and has been a young artist at the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival, Astoria Music Festival, Napa Music Festival, and the Toronto Summer Opera Workshop. He received his Masters in Vocal Performance from the Crane School of Music in 2012.
