Each year an artist is chosen who exemplifies the spirit of Arts Fest, and this year we are pleased to announce that Beverly artist Alyssa Watters is the official Arts Fest Featured Artist.  Alyssa Watters is an oil painter/entrepreneur living and working in Beverly, MA. Originally from Ledyard, Connecticut, Alyssa moved to Beverly in 2003 to attend Montserrat College of Art, and has now called Beverly home. She graduated in 2007 and has gone on to create and run her own company, artbyalyssa.   As a painter, designer, and entrepreneur Alyssa is an inspiration to all artists who are established and upcoming.  Ms. Watters work is an excellent representation of the fine art that is created in Beverly.  A multi-talented artist, she has been successful not only in the fine arts, but has created her own gift product line that is available for wholesale and retail across the country.  Using her original images she creates calendars, coasters, magnets, and cards.  Alyssa recently teamed up with Holly from The Salty Cottage, to share a studio workspace at 110 Cabot Street. The pair plans to use the space to produce their products and fulfill orders, meet with clients by appointment and host pop-up shopping events at different times throughout the year. To learn more about what Alyssa does visit:  Alyssa Watters and the work that she does in Beverly prove that Beverly is and will continue to be a thriving arts district.  Stop by the reception to meet her and on Saturday, you can find her selling her works on Cabot Street with 100 other artists for Beverly Arts Fest.
