The College received approximately 4,000 applications for the upcoming academic year and will enroll 841 new students for fall, of which 768 are freshmen and 73 are transfers. Twenty-six percent were members of the National Honor Society, and 25% participated in Student Council or other peer leadership. The class includes world travelers, Eagle/Girl Scouts, volunteers, musicians and more - an impressive list of individual achievements!

“We have had many significant changes over the summer,” said Interim President Dr. Katie Barnes, “and we are working to ensure our students find a mix of the comfortably familiar and the exciting new when they return in September. I am very excited to greet our incoming freshmen and introduce them to our amazing community; we know they will do great things while they are here.”

This fall 115 students will travel overseas, including twelve on international internships, studying in locations including American College of Greece, Cork Institute of Technology, Central Queensland University, CIS Endicott International, Danish Institute for Study Abroad, Florence University of the Arts, and International College of Management, Sydney.

In the fall, the majority of our seniors will complete their full-semester internships spanning a variety of industries and locations.  Over 450 students have already accepted positions with dynamic organizations that include Boston Celtics, Boston Children's Hospital, Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Education First, Electric Insurance, Express Yourself, Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Four Seasons, Futures Behavior Therapy Center, GE Healthcare, Gorton's, Harvard University, Hasbro Gaming, Hong Kong Football Association, iRobot, ISlide USA, John Hancock, King Fish Media, the Langham Boston, Make A Wish Foundation, Massachusetts General Hospital, New Balance, New England BioLabs, Peabody Essex Museum, Pratt & Whitney,  Puma, Raytheon, State Street, Target, U.S. Secret Service, Veritas Genetics, Virtual Inc., Walt Disney World College Program, Wells Fargo, and Wayfair.

New this year at The Van Loan School at 熊猫在线视频 is a hybrid format M.S. in Bioinformatics — a growing interdisciplinary field that integrates natural sciences, computer science, and statistics; a new fifth-year master’s degree option in autism and applied behavior analysis (ABA) available to Endicott undergraduate students who plan to become behavior analysts specializing in autism; a graduate-level certificate program in Cybersecurity that trains students to be a cybersecurity analyst; an RN to BSN program at Beverly Hospital allowing nurses there to conveniently earn a bachelor’s degree; and an undergraduate-level concentration in Integrative Health, aimed at professionals looking to enhance careers in alternative health, including midwifery, acupuncture, yoga therapy, massage, and health coaching. The Van Loan School enrolls over 2,300 students, across 20 U.S. and four international sites, in certificate, associate, bachelor, master and doctoral degree programs.

Over 290 preseason athletes, orientation leaders, and resident assistants are currently on campus. New students will move in and participate in Orientation on September 2-3, and returning students will arrive on September 3. Classes begin Wednesday, September 5.

New Construction and Campus Upgrades

Opening just in time for move-in is Endicott’s new 150-space two-level parking deck, which will help ensure there is more parking available near student housing, easier access for commuter students, a designated visitor lot, and centralized parking for faculty, staff, and events.

Students will also see the significant progress we have made on the construction of the first phase of two new academic buildings, with a new structure fully in place next to the current Academic Center. Slated for completion in summer of 2019, the building will provide classroom, office, and state-of-the-art lab space, all with spectacular views of the pond and a future quad recreational area.

In July, Endicott broke ground on a 15,000 square-foot Ginger Judge Science Center Expansion, which will provide a home for the new engineering program, incubator and maker space, additional classrooms, and the new Gully’s. The new addition will open in September 2019.

The contractor for these construction projects is Windover Construction, and the architects are Bergmeyer Associates and Siemasko + Verbridge.
