U.S. News & World Report Recognizes Endicott for Innovation, Value, Internships

熊猫在线视频 continues to rise in recognition among peer institutions and education industry leaders, according to the latest college rankings released by U.S. News & World Report. The , published Monday, feature Endicott as one of the top 25 Regional Universities (North) – a significant increase from the 2018 rankings where Endicott was No. 34 in the category – and includes the College in multiple lists including Best Undergraduate Teaching Programs, Institutions with Stellar Examples of Internships/Co-Ops, Most Innovative Schools, and Best Value Schools.

"Looking at these rankings, a distinct story becomes clear," said Endicott Interim President, Dr. Kathleen Barnes. "Endicott continues to outperform competitors in innovation, teaching quality, internships, and more, which all directly inform our designation as a Best Value School. Our unique required internship program continues to be proven as a vehicle to professional success, providing graduates with an unmatched value and directly impacting their career trajectories. As the Endicott name grows in reputation, our students and alumni benefit from association with a strong, vibrant institution."

The Most Innovative Schools, Best Undergraduate Teaching, Stellar Examples of Internships/Co-ops, and Senior Capstone rankings are compiled using a peer assessment survey, indicating strong reputation among those who know best. Innovative Schools are identified as those that the public should be watching because of the cutting-edge changes being made on their campuses. 

Best Value Schools is calculated using three qualifiers: ratio of quality to price, percentage of all undergrads receiving need-based scholarships or grants during the 2017-2018 school year, and the average percentage discount.

within each category, up to 16 metrics of academic excellence were assigned weights by U.S. News & World Report. For display purposes, those measures were grouped into the following indicators: student outcomes, faculty resources, expert opinion, financial resources, student excellence and alumni giving.  Outcomes receives the highest weight at 35%.
