Program Overview
Endicott’s 62-credit Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program is designed for career changers, recent graduates and others who want to earn a second bachelor’s degree and become a nurse.
This program prepares graduates to join one of the fastest growing and most respected professions in the United States. The ABSN curriculum includes classroom, lab, and hands-on clinical experiences and prepares graduates to work in a variety of healthcare settings.

Curriculum
The Accelerated BS in Nursing (ABSN) degree program is designed for individuals who hold a bachelor’s degree in another discipline but have always dreamed of becoming a nurse.
This 62-credit program prepares graduates to join one of the fastest growing and most respected professions in the United States. The ABSN curriculum includes classroom, lab, and hands-on clinical experiences, and graduates nurses who are ready to work in a variety of healthcare settings.
Application requirements
- $50 application fee (may be completed online)
Fee is waived for Endicott alumni and military personnel - Two letters of recommendation: one academic and one professional preferred
- Resume
- Official transcripts of all post-secondary academic work
Earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited US college or university.
Students may be in progress toward their bachelor’s degree at time of application but must provide proof of degree prior to program start. - Essay of 250 – 500 words to answer the questions: Why Nursing? Why Now?
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) for all students whose native language is not English; please see website for further information.

Admissions requirements
Earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited US college or university. Students may be in progress toward their degree at time of application but must provide proof of degree prior to start of program.
The ideal candidate has at least a 3.0 Undergraduate GPA, with a 2.7 GPA in prerequisite coursework.
