Marisa Mickey
Profile
Marisa Mickey joined the School of Sport Science in Fall 2017. Before this, she pursued her Ph.D. in Science Education at Syracuse University, where her research aimed to investigate the effect of capsaicin on skeletal muscle function during periods of skeletal muscle atrophy. Most recently, she earned her Doctorate in Education from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences, where her research focused on professional development for STEM educators in higher education.
