Performing Arts Program
-
Program OverviewThe Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts is designed for the student who seeks to go beyond a strong foundation in their craft to build an additional skill set necessary for today's performing arts world. Your courses in an area of concentration—dance, music, or theater—will completely prepare you for graduate work or careers on the stage or backstage. Courses in performing arts will give you the skills and language to collaborate, innovate, and create with other artists and manage the productions of tomorrow.
As a Performing Arts major, classes you take will explore collaborative performance work, common historical themes, analytical skills, business acumen, marketing strategies, and technical arts. All courses happen in our state-of-the-art facility with all Steinway pianos, two theaters, backstage facilities, ample practice and rehearsal rooms, and a new recording studio.
