Philosophy
ÐÜèÔÚÏßÊÓƵ recognizes that many students experience personal difficulties, which can have a significant negative impact on their academic success. In order to help students cope with the personal challenges they face, the Counseling Center provides individual and group counseling, implements programming on issues relevant to college-aged students, assists during crisis situations, and is a resource for referral to both on-campus and community support services.
Confidentiality
Confidential counseling is available to all currently enrolled Endicott students at no charge. We offer counseling services in an individual and small group setting and provide referrals as needed to College services such as Academic Resources, Family Medicine Associates, and student affairs staff. We also refer to area psychologists, social workers, counselors, psychiatrists, nutritionists, and physicians.
Confidentiality is a very important part of our work. We recognize that the Endicott community often feels small and that anonymity and confidentiality are important considerations for students regarding the sharing of personal information. Essentially, we won’t be speaking to anyone on or off campus about you without your written permission, with a few safety-related exceptions. We’ll ask you to read and sign a Notification Regarding Confidentiality document at your first visit.
