Maria Genest
Profile
Maria Genest, Ed.D. is an assistant professor whose teaching and research are focused on effective literacy instruction and literacy teacher preparation. She is a former classroom teacher who has worked extensively with learners in PK-8th grade in MA, NH, and PA as well as a semester abroad teaching in a 2nd grade classroom in Sydney, Australia. She enjoys visiting classrooms, collaborating with expert teachers, and building strong educational partnerships both at home and abroad.
