Endicott offers certificate programs in a number of teaching areas. These certificates are designed for candidates who are interested in earning their teaching license, but may already hold a Master’s degree.

Programs are available in the following areas:
Certificate in Elementary Education
Upon completion of this certificate, candidates earn an initial license from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Elementary Education (1-6).Certificate in Reading & Literacy
Upon completion of this certificate, candidates earn an initial license from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Reading & Literacy (all levels).
Certificate in Secondary Education
Upon completion of this certificate, candidates earn an initial license from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in one of the following areas: Humanities (5-8), History (5-12), English (5-12), Mathematics (5-12), Middle School Mathematics (5-8), Science & Mathematics (5-8), Physics (8-12), Chemistry (8-12), Biology (8-12)Certificate in Special Education: Moderate Disabilities
Upon completion of this certificate, candidates earn an initial license from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Moderate Disabilities in either Pre-K-8 or grades 5-12.Certificate in Special Education: Severe Disabilities
Upon completion of this certificate, candidates earn an initial license from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Severe Disabilities (all levels).
