Housing Selection Process
Every year, the Office of Residence Life oversees the housing selection process, striving to accommodate all student requests when possible, depending on availability.
Students choose housing based on credits earned and building/space availability.
For those students who wish to change their residential status please fill out the online located under "Forms". Please note that students will not lose their enrollment/continuation deposit for submitting this form after the deadline.
The deadline for current students to request housing accommodations for the 2024–25 academic year was Friday, March 15, 2024. This included students requesting housing accommodations for the first time and for students who are already approved for housing accommodations. Accommodations may still be submitted but are not guaranteed before housing selection. View more information about housing accommodations.
First-year and transfer students do not participate in housing selection but are placed based on their responses to the Housing application they fill out over the summer. The first part of the application is available the first week of June and the second part is available at the start of Summer orientation. Both parts are due by Wednesday, July 3.
