Strength in Community
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of 9/11, the Endicott family came together for a week of learning opportunities and community-building events, paying tribute to the many lives lost and honoring the unity felt across the country in the wake of immense tragedy. Read more at endicott.edu/news.

Waves of Impact
In September, Michelle Mustone, Director of Advising & Licensure at the School of Education, and members of Endicott’s men’s volleyball team volunteered at Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester, Mass., on behalf of Waves of Impact, a California-based nonprofit that offers free surf camps for young people with special challenges.

Day of Caring
Each year since 2002, Endicott volunteers (center, seated) commemorate 9/11 by participating in Day of Caring to demonstrate the power of community. In 2021, over 200 students and staff volunteered for over 20 community service activities and random acts of kindness, working with River House shelter, Kindness in the Parks, Habitat for Humanity, Family Promise, and more. Here, students deliver desserts to a local fire department.

Hispanic Heritage Month
During Hispanic Heritage Month, students celebrated with diverse cuisines, movie nights, salsa dancing, and a block party with food trucks and music.

Onboard Group
Incoming students begin their transition to Endicott through Onboard, a series of three-day, two-night retreats led by returning student leaders that offer attendees the opportunity to connect with other students and learn more about the campus community. Different themed retreats such as visual arts, leadership, and outdoor adventure offer a chance to pursue specific interests.

Tender Bar filming at ‘The Dickens’
Jacob’s Corner, a Beverly sports bar and grill owned by alumnus Vincent Orlando ’08 M’09, got a new look for a few days in March for a turn as The Dickens Bar during filming for George Clooney and Ben Affleck’s Amazon Prime movie The Tender Bar, out January 7, 2022. You may recognize Affleck out front near the car, and behind him stand Tye Sheridan, Max Casella, Briana Middleton, Michael Braun, and Max Martini.
